Content Based Instruction
This method is using content from other disciplines. It has to be different from those disciplines and it has been observed that academic subjects provide natural content for language instruction. The learning of a new language is based in learning of reading and writing, the instructor has to know and understand subject matter text.
In this case teacher has to use material for foreign speakers that don´t know the language very well. Students has to use their own experience and try to guess what are talking about. When teacher has to explain some topic. When students have trouble explaining a concept, the teacher supplies the missing language.
Helping with a video is a good strategy, and very useful, in the video there are vocabulary.
When the video is finished, teacher can tells some words and they have to fill a piece of paper.
Finally teacher can give them homework to memorize the new vocabulary.
